              Folks:

This is just an early reminder that we have a fabulous Zoom meeting that you surely don’t want to miss coming up on October 7

Zoom log-in information for this meeting appears following this message.  It will be re-sent immediately before the meeting.

But here’s the thing, Randy Reeves will be our speaker.  So what, you might ask, has he got to speak about?   Well, briefly, he’s done a Figure 8 Voyage, which involves a solo circumnavigation of the Americas and Antarctica in one season, involving twice under Cape Horn and the Northwest Passage in 384 days (39,048 nm).  And then a prior F8V attempt failed, but that nevertheless resulted in a solo circumnavigation (the short way, of course, around Antarctica) south, perhaps well south, of all the Great Capes in 253 days (26,453 nm).  And then the Northwest Passage Nuuk, Greenland, to Nome, Alaska, in 68 days (6,000 nm).  And then . . . . .  And then . . . . .

So who wants to miss this?  Be sure to sign up.  Again, it’s a Zoom meeting on October 7.  Zoom details below and to be repeated closer to the meeting date.

Cheers.
