Recent Grants from Spring 2022 and Fall 2022
• Bellingham Bay Community Boating received $5000 to purchase a safety boat
• Billion Oyster Project received $5000 for safety equipment
• Brigs Youth Sail Training received $3000 for personal safety Equipment upgrades
• Cape Cod maritime Museum received $5000 for Young Mariner Scholarships
• Coral Reef Alliance received $5000 for collecting and analyzing data on the health of coral reefs in Hawaii and Florida
• Friends of casco Bay received $7500 to develop and distribute Healthy Bay information from a pump out boat
• Gulf of Maine Research Institute received $4000 for the purchase of personal safety equipment
• Loggerhead Marinelife Center received $10000 to increase efforts to reduce harm to turtles by speeding boats
• Maine Island Trail Association received $10000 for the construction of an innovative trap crusher
• Rocking The Boat received $10000 to replace their volunteer-built dock on the East River
• Sail Newport received $3000 to upgrade Safety equipment including ADE and floating VHFs for instructor boats
• Sound Experience received $8500 for scholarships benefiting marginalized, underserved youth
• Sustainable Marblehead received $2269 to purchase a WaterMonster, a portable means to refill water bottles
• Wooden Boats for Veterans received $4900 for sail training support for veterans returning to life in the USA
