Captain Henry Marx, CEO of Landfall Navigation, CCA member, and longtime safety educator and advocate, was presented with the Commodore's Award at the 2018 meeting of the Safety and Seamanship Committee. Congratulations, Henry!

Doug and Dale Bruce For their significant contributions to the Club in editing its annual publication Voyages. Serving as volunteers since 2011, both have coaxed manuscripts from CCA authors and Blue Water Medalists, massaged them into gripping illustrated tales of sea adventures, and assembled a final product that has frequently been referred to as "The National Geographic of Sailing."
Jean D. Myer for her ten years as Editor of the Year Book, principal among the Club's publications. For most of the year, she served as a committee of one keeping current on literally hundreds upon hundreds of changes. New members, members who crossed the bar, changes to the fleet, fleet photos, yearly awards, committee and Station changes, and Newport-Bermuda Race results. The Club is indebted to her for her volunteer work that has so greatly benefited the members.
T.L. and Harriet Linskey. Cruising is often characterized as a personal quest for adventure at sea. T.L. and Harriet have added generosity to friends near and far. They took their volunteer job of editing the Cruising Club News with them as they sailed between New England and the Caribbean. The accomplishments of our members have been captured in the beauty of the Linskeys work for the past eight years.
Arthur J. (Tuna) Wullschleger for over thirty years of dedication to judging regattas, and contributions to the jury system and development of on-the-water umpiring.
Lester E. Nicholson Jr. for outstanding service to the NewportBermuda Race and the CCA over many years. As chairman of the 2008 Bermuda Race Organizing Committee, Nick's persistence under tight operating constraints and his inclusive leadership pro duced a Newport-Bermuda Race successful in all respects.
Dorsey Beard for her outstanding work in updating and maintaining the CCA website as well as organizing the Newport Bermuda Race website and her help in establishing Station websites.
Robert S. Darbee III for his many years of service to the CCA and the Newport-Bermuda Race Committee. During this time he helped select, care for, and transport to Bermuda and return, the awards and trophies for each race. He is commended for his tremendous efforts towards the successful prize giving in Bermuda and his exemplary trophy management.
