From time to time, our Governing Board has adopted various policies for the Club. These are attached as files below and are described here.

• Contract Authorization and Financial Control Policies: These policies are necessary to mitigate risks, protect assets, ensure the accuracy of financial records and promote operational efficiency.  They also help with compliance with laws, regulations, help safeguard an organization and help it achieve its objectives by minimizing potential fraud, errors, and waste.

• Final Voyage Policy: This policy outlines the communication steps and the responsible parties in the notification process when a member sails their Final Voyage. Timely and sensitive communication is the objective.

• CCA Investment Policy Statement: This policy sets forth the parameters to manage the CCA's investment portfolio, the "Reserve Fund", including the spending policy and the guidelines for permissible investments.

• Seafarer’s Resolution: This policy outlines guidelines for granting Seafarer status to members with serious medical or personal issues.  Seafarer status includes a one-year dues waiver and must be reconsidered annually.

• Surviving Spouse Policy: This policy is designed to let surviving mates know that they are welcome in the CCA activities and provide them with access to our resources.
