Friday, October 18: “Shoreside Rum Keg Raft-up”
CCA Rum Keg, CCA/CHE Open Bar
A delicious selection of “heavy appetizers” and treats
catered by one of the Annapolis area’s premier catering firms

Time: 1700-2000 hours
Location: ~38°56.9’N/076°27.9’W
Directions: By sea: At Lake Ogleton Entrance Light “1L” (~1.4 NM SSE of
Horn Point, Annapolis Harbor) follow entrance channel to G“5”.
Parker home (with dinghy dock) is to starboard with CCA
burgee displayed. Anchor in Lake Ogleton. Do not pick up any
of the many private moorings without permission of the
owner!
By land: 2507 Carrollton Rd, Annapolis, MD
There will be absolutely no on- or off-street parking
available. At the Parker Residence, drop any passengers you
may have, and a covered golf cart shuttle will lead you to
our available parking area and shuttle you back to the house.
Alternatively, you may find it more convenient to Uber or
taxi from Annapolis.
Saturday, October 19: Sunny Neff Trophy Race (sailing
instructions to follow) to Eastern Bay (~20 NM)
Anchor in Quarter Creek, Wye River (~25.8 NM total), off
the home of Fred & Sharon Kirsch (raft-ups encouraged)
CCA Rum Keg, limited CCA Bar, and oysters aboard Nellie
Crockett (Ted & Mimi Parish’s 1925 Chesapeake Bay Buy Boat)
Please bring an hors d’oeuvre to share and feel free to BYOB.
Time: 1630 hours
Location: ~33°55.1’N/076°9.6’W
Directions: By sea: From Eastern Bay, pass Wye River Entrance
Daybeacon G “3” south of Bennett Point and head north up
the Wye River, turning ENE at GC“7” to enter Quarter Creek.
There is plenty of anchoring space north of the Kirsch’s dock,
where you will see their 80’ expedition motor yacht, Iiwii
By land: 422 Quarter Creek Drive, Queenstown, MD.
Park in designated areas (per signage) once in driveway
Sunday, October 20: Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM)
St. Michaels, MD (~9.8 NM)
Dockage at CBMM (local marina or anchoring, if preferred)
Time: CBMM dockage (if you have reserved and paid) will be available
after 1000 hours
Location: ~38°47.3”N/076°13.1’W
Directions: By sea: Proceed back south along the Wye River, leaving both
G “3” and Wye River Entrance light G “1W” to starboard.
Once past Miles River light R “4”, head SW toward St.
Michaels Harbor entrance light R “2SM”. CBMM docks will
be ahead on Navy Point. Call dockmaster on VHF 16 if you
have made a reservation (tel: 410-745-4946) for instructions.
By land: 213 N Talbot St, St Michaels, MD
Activities: 1300-1500 hours: Private docent tour (beginning at Welcome
Center) of CBMM boat building/restoration projects; feel free
to tour the remainder of the many CBMM exhibits on your own.
1630 hours: BYOB cocktails with CHE wine, beer, and snacks
the Hooper Strait Lighthouse on Navy Point
Dinner on your own at one of St. Michaels’ many restaurants
Monday, October 21: Rhode River, Chesapeake Bay western shore (~23.3 NM)
Anchor; Rum Keg and BYO drinks and an hors d’oeuvre to
share aboard Nellie Crockett
Time: 1630 hours
Location: ~38°52.9’N/076°32.0’W No access by car.
Directions: From Eastern Bay pass G “1E”, then head NW passing West
River G “1A”, then proceed into Rhode River at R “2RR” and
anchor ESE of Big Island
Tuesday, October 22: West River (~4 NM)
Closing dinner ashore at Chesapeake Yacht Club
Time: 1700
Location: ~38°50.2’N/076°31.9’W
Directions: By sea: from Rhode River, head S then SW past West River
Daybeacon G “3”, leaving both Councillor’s Point and Chalk Point to
starboard. CYC will be to port. Limited dockage and moorings
available by reservation. Large anchorage to W of CYC docks.
By land: 4943 Hine Dr, Shady Side, MD
Park in designated areas
Activities: Cocktails (w/pre-authorized credit card bar) and dinner under the tent at CYC
Wednesday, October 23: Disband
