2025 CHE Spring Cruise

Please join your fellow CCA/CHE members, spouses, and guests for our annual Spring Cruise. Our schedule is as follows:
Thursday, May 15 – Gather at the Chesapeake Yacht Club, West River, MD Lat 38° 50’ .22’ N Long 76° 32’ W. 16:00 Cocktails & Rum Keg aboard yacht TBD, dinner at Chesapeake Yacht Club. CYC Cash Bar paid by credit card (note: CYC requires a Credit Card Authorization Form to be submitted in advance (instructions below for CC authorization and Dock/Mooring requests). Drive in location: 4943 Hine Drive, Shady Side MD; Dock Master 410-867-1500 Slips available max depth 6’, Mooring also available 8’ max draft
Friday, May 16 - The Robert Goldsborough Henry Race will be held on Friday for those participating. Race instructions will be provided to entrants prior to the race. Following the race proceed to Little Choptank River. Raft up inside Casson Point Lat. 38 32.5’ N Long. 76 14.7’ W. The Rum Keg will be available. Bring an appetizer to share.
Saturday, May 17 – Proceed to Dunn Cove off Harris Creek for raft up. Rum Keg and Bar remains will be available. Lat 38° 44.4’ N, Long 76° 19.15’ W Alternative date for Robert Goldsborough Henry Race.
Sunday, May 18 – Disband.

Cruise Fee: For Cruise participants and drive-ins to CYC, the registration fee is $65 per head to cover Rum Keg and Dinner. CYC bar charges are to be paid by credit card on file. Thanks are due the CYC General Manager who has graciously waived their room rental fees to keep our costs down.
Instructions for CYC Forms: The Credit Card Authorization Form and the Transient Dock/Mooring Request Forms are attached below. Download the Forms and fill out as appropriate. Save and attach to an email addressed to office@chesapeakeyachtclub.org noting that you are attending the CCA Chesapeake Spring Cruise. If you are seeking Dock or Mooring space download, fill out and save the attached Transient Reservation Form and attach it to the email above. Separately, please forward a copy ot the transient form to Cruise Chair, David Morrow at davidamorrow@me.com. If you do not wish to provide your credit card info by email, call the office at CYC on 410-867-1500 and provide the information verbally. Then, handle Dock/Mooring requests as above.
