The Delta Cruise contact is Steve Mason, steve@seajay.org, from the SAF Station.
The first rendezvous will be at Montezuma Slough on Saturday August 15. This will be a 3 week cruise to many of the best spots on the Delta of the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers. Some of the nights will be at docks and some at anchor. This will be SAF's first a la carte cruise. Every leg of it will be within a day or less distance from San Francisco so that boats can join anywhere along the way and stay for as long as they choose.
The overnights along the way will include Pittsburg, Bethel Island, San Joaquin Yacht Club, Discovery Bay Yacht Club, Mildred Island, Owl Harbor, Potato Slough, Tower Park, the Mokelumne River, Georgiana Slough, Prospect Slough, and will and at Steamboat Slough.
The weather will be warm, and the water will be fresh.
