The next meeting of the San Francisco Station of the Cruising Club of America will be held at the MARIN YACHT CLUB on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, commencing at 11:30 am. The Marin Yacht Club is located at 24 Summit Avenue, which is northerly of its marina on Pt. San Pedro Road in San Rafael. The luncheon will be buffet-style (vegetarian dishes will be available). The cost of the meal is $35.00. There will be wine on the tables.
 
     Here's what's really, really exciting: The woman below, who is our very own Rowena Carlson, will explain why she's bribing the bird below, and how she (and the bird) got there, not to mention what she found on the beaches. With plenty of pictures.
