Past Commodore Sheila McCurdy will speak to us about her new book High Seas and Home Waters: The Centennial History of the Cruising Club of America. The book covers much ground, but its heart is about the achievements, adventures and friendships formed among the CCA membership. It also weaves in the threads of ever improving design and material of the boats they sailed and brings to life the captivating and often lighthearted history of the generations who have contributed to the global reputation of the CCA.
