Here’s something contrary to ordinary: The Holiday meeting of the San Francisco Station of the Cruising Club of America will be a VIRTUAL COCKTAIL PARTY. It will be a Zoom affair with doors opening at 5:30 on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 2. It will be, of course, BYOB, but it should be a fun event. While we won’t have anyone making a presentation, there’ll still be some goings on starting at 6:00 pm:
There’ll be the awarding of the Cruiser of Year Award to a notable recipient; there’ll be the creation and presentation of a new award, to be called the “Van Blaricom Award;” and, of course, there’ll the installations of Rear Commodore Quanci, Secretary Schaper and Treasurer Mason (to the last two of whom, special thanks will be in order). But most importantly, there’ll be a chance for folks to touch base and wish each other well.
Again, it’s a VIRTUAL COCKTAIL PARTY, starting at 5:30 on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 2. Bring your own drinks. And like all of our recent get-togethers, it’s free (sort of). See you there! See below for the Zoom link
