Actaea was built for Peter Cooper in 1971. She was the prototype Hinckley Bermuda 40 Mark III. We purchased her in 1989. Since 1995 she has mostly raced: one Marion-Bermuda race, nine Annapolis-Newport, eight Marblehead-Halifax and ten Newport-Bermuda. She won the St. David's Lighthouse prize in the 2014 Newport-Bermuda Race.
