Chase is the first Swan 40 built. She's had a number of previous owners, including Jim Pitney (CCA) and Christopher Reeve - who purchased her with his earnings from the first Superman movie. She's been owned by a partnership since 1996, which includes Peter Stoops (CCA), Alex Agnew (CCA), John O'Meara, and Jack McBride. She's crossed the Atlantic 3 times, and is currently in the Med awaiting her next challenge.
