Tartan 4600

Meridian is a modified Tartan 4600, built in 1997. 2 feet have been added to the transom, so that she is 48 feet long with a 14 foot beam and 5 1/2 foot draft. She has sailed all along the East Coast and throughout the Caribbean for most of her life. She has been raced to Bermuda 7 times, four times in the Marion Bermuda Race (2011),once in the Bermuda 1-2 (2015), and then in the Newport Bermuda Race (2016, 2018, 2022). She has also been raced in over a dozen overnight races around New England. In many of these she's brought home quite a bit of hardware.  She is a very comfortable offshore boat, set up for short-handed sailing. Her general cruising ground is in Buzzards Bay, down Long Island Sound, and out to Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and all along the coast of Maine.
