The Next Watch is a club-wide, sustainable effort oriented toward activities, outreach and opportunities ensuring a next generation of active, engaged members working toward the club's high ideals and standards of sailing, cruising and seamanship. Each station and post has a Next Watch Captain to organize and provide input for events, activities and resources accessible to skilled sailors and cruisers who, for example, may be raising children or may be work-week employed. The Next Watch works with each station’s leadership in an ongoing effort to attract to the club sailors with passion and energy at any stage in their adventures.
