The Bermuda Race with CAPT Mark Lenci and Sheila McCurdy
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1 @ 1900 Eastern Time

Whether you're a veteran of numerous Gulf Stream crossings, or aspiring to make your first trip to the Onion Patch, this Virtual Club Night is for you. This Zoom event is sponsored by CCA and the NYYC Seamanship Committee as part of its series on great ocean races and will be moderated by Chair David Tunick.

Sheila McCurdy has competed in 19 Bermuda races as captain of her own boat, the well-known Selkie, a McCurdy & Rhodes design. She will address the history and traditions of the Bermuda Race, America’s foremost offshore sailing competition.

CAPT Mark Lenci, the retired commander of a U.S. Navy nuclear fast attack submarine, is also a Bermuda Race veteran as captain and owner of his own boat. He will tell us about the 2022 race and how it may play a role in shaping the next race in 2024.

There is no charge, but click here to RSVP to ensure you get the day-of email with the Zoom link
