We're pleased to report that CCA Member Ronnie Simpson has been delivered safely to Argentina. Ronnie, competing in the Global Solo Challenge, was dismasted in some very rough Atlantic weather. Judging that the weather and loss of stability had still left him in a dangerous situation, Ronnie requested evacuation.

A Taiwanese vessel was able to retrieve Ronnie quite quickly and, within the space of a few days, set him safely ashore at their destination in Argentina. The boat has been scuttled by opening through-hulls.
