We're pleased to report that CCA Member Ronnie Simpson has been delivered safely to Argentina. Ronnie, competing in the Global Solo Challenge, was dismasted in some very rough Atlantic weather. Judging that the weather and loss of stability had still left him in a dangerous situation, Ronnie requested evacuation.

For infectious enthusiasm, no one ever beat Bill Nutting. One of the first things he did when Typhoon returned to New York in November 1920 was to propose what would become the Cruising Club of America—established in 1922, with Nutting elected as its first commodore. Read more
The annual awards presented by The Cruising Club of America include the iconic Blue Water Medal, first awarded 100 years ago. Recipients of five awards are announced, honoring these sailors for completing circumnavigations and other rigorous passages, as well as for exemplary innovation, contribution to the sailing community, and service to the Club itself. Antigua 2024 Cruise - Expressions of Interest/Priority Form available now
We are pleased to announce that the CCA and the NYYC are renewing an old tradition: a crossed burgee winter cruise in the Caribbean. Details are being worked out for the two clubs to cruise together around Antigua, starting Saturday, 9 March, 2024 with an optional follow-on cruise to and around Guadeloupe.
